I have recently been selected as one of four emerging Brisbane-based composers to be part of the GenMuse: Emerging Composer Development Program with the brilliant Muses Trio. See below for more info!
I was lucky to attend this year’s National Music Camp with the Australian Youth Orchestra as one of three participants in the Sound Production program under the tutelage of Jakub Gaudasinski. The program focused predominantly on live mixing, and we recorded and mixed each of the four orchestral concerts in the Summer Music Festival series, as well as many other chamber concerts.
After a year-long mentorship directed by inspiring Brisbane-based ensemble Topology, the final showcase, Rising Sounds, will be presented at the Ron Hurley Theatre on December 2. The concert will feature six vibrant new works, including my work Crystallise inspired by a recent project in the field of inorganic chemistry.
